ingredients

1 cup Pinto beans Verde Valle®, cooked

2 tablespoons lard

1 ½ cup milk

1 piece of onion

2 ancho chillis, shredded

2 tablespoons oil

1 cup Oaxaca cheese

PREPARATION

HEAT oil in a small frying pan and fry the chilli strips for a few minutes, remove the oil and let them drain. Reserve. GRIND beans with the soup and half of the milk. HEAT lard in a different frying pan; when hot, add the onion and let it fry until it turns black. Remove the lard. ADD in the same mixture the grinded beans. Stir using a wooden spoon so the beans can incorporate with the grease. Pour the rest of the milk and lower the flame; don´t stop stirring and cook for 25 minutes until beans begins to dry. POUR in an oven container, and place on top the fried chillis and Oaxaca cheese. Place container in the oven to keep it warm until the moment you serve it.
